Non - Career Positions
Summer, seasonal and part-time opportunities include lifeguards, day camp aides and counselors, highway and park maintenance workers, golf starters, skate guards, library aides and many others. Applications for these positions are not obtained from, or processed by, the Human Resources Department. The following departments typically employ non-career workers; each department/program will assist you with information on its selection process.

Library
Non-Career Library Assistants and Library Aides are employed year-round. Such employees assist in book shelving, processing materials, circulation desk duties and other support functions. They generally work a flexible schedule of 15 - 19 hours per week, which includes some evening and weekend hours. Library Attendants work evenings during the school year to maintain order during peak use periods. Information on current openings can be found on the Library's Web site at
